Organics Drop-off Bin Collection

Baltimore City, Maryland

The Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority (Authority) is requesting proposals from firms or contractors qualified to provide for the collection and removal of organic waste from multiple locations within Baltimore City, Maryland for the purpose of composting.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting (focusing on the procurement process) will be held online on October 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference, but are not required to attend in order to respond to this RFP. Potential attendees must RSVP to procurement@nmwda.org no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 21, 2024.
Any communication regarding this RFP must be made to the attention of “Organics Drop-off Bin Collection Project” in writing and directed to procurement@nmwda.org , Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority, 100 South Charles Street, Tower II – Suite 402, Baltimore, MD 21201 or fax to 410-333-2721. Prior to award of this contract, Offerors should not initiate any communications related to this RFP with Authority staff, or with employees or local elected officials of any Member Jurisdiction. Any communications other than to procurement@nmwda.org may result in the disqualification of an Offeror’s proposal.
Prospective Offerors may submit written questions only concerning this RFP to the attention of “Organics Drop-off Bin Collection Project,” to procurement@nmwda.org by 4:00 PM on November 14, 2024.
Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 PM Eastern time on December 3, 2024. Proposals shall be submitted as a PDF with a separate unlocked MS Excel file for the budget. Completed copies of the reference forms are to be submitted by the references no later than 4:00 PM on December 3, 2024, to the Authority procurement email address at procurement@nmwda.org. Use the subject line “Organics Drop-off Bin Collection Project”. No hardcopies are required.
