The City of St. George reserves the right to reject any or all SUBMISSIONS or to waive any formality or technicality in any PROPOSAL in the interest of the city.

Project Description: The City of St. George is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to perform a guided horizontal directional drill (HDD), or other approved trenchless bore, beneath Interstate 15 (I‑15) at the 400 East crossing. The work includes installing underground power conduits to replace existing overhead distribution facilities that must be removed. The bore alignment and profile (horizontal and vertical) shall conform to the elevations and offsets shown on the stamped plans and shall not deviate without prior written approval from the City.
Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the BID, naming the City of St. George as obligee, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George.
The 100% performance – labor and materials bond will be required on this project.
