Overview

Summary

In general, this project will consist of the removal of existing roofing and replacement with new ballasted roofing for the Wastewater Department's administration building, shop building, secondary building, non-potable water building, and D.A.F., as detailed in the plans and specifications for this IFB (refer to ATTACHMENTS ). Project will be in accordance with all applicable codes and standards of practice.

Background

The existing ballasted roofs are over 15 years old, pulling away from the sides, have multiple leaks (including leaks around skylights), and they cannot be repaired. Replacement is required.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to obtain all necessary information at the site visit. The City will not allow future change orders based on information that is available at the site visit.
