Invitation to Bidders:
FARCO, acting as Construction Manager for the Southside School District, will be receiving bids for the Southside Elementary Addition, located in Southside, Arkansas. Emailed or delivered bids will be received until 1:00 p.m. at FARCO on November 14th, 2024.Or bids can be delivered in-person to the bid opening and will be received until 2:00 p.m. November 14th, 2024. Bids sent to FARCO will be received at 1530 Batesville Blvd, Batesville, AR 72501 or emailed to Kyle Martin at kmartin@gofarco.com . There will be a public bid opening at the Southside Schools Board Meeting Room at 134 Camp Taholah Road, Batesville AR 72501. Bids will be received and placed under review. The project owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities.

There will be a Pre-bid walkthrough at 10:00 a.m. on November 7th.
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid that exceeds $100,000. Bidder must have a current general or specialty license from the Arkansas Contractor’s License Board before the bid proposal will be considered. The bid proposal and the work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 22-9-203, FARCO and Southside School District encourages all small, minority-owned, and woman-owned business enterprise to submit bids for this project.
