One NSN for A-B3; AH-64 Apache Helicopter Weapon System, Sole Source, Long Term Contract OEM Boeing Company

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation against a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include one (1) National Stock Number (NSN) to support the A-B3; AH-64 Apache Helicopter Weapon System. The NSN targeted to be added for this contract effort is NSN: 1615-01-694-3180, Part Number: 7-5R0430100-105; NOUN: NOUN BLADE, ROTARY WING with the following specifications FSC: 1615; NAICS Code: 336413; Number of Employees: 1,250; AMRC: 4P. The required Production Lead is 1,140 Days After Contract Award (DACA).

The proposed sole source action will be issued to the Boeing Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 8V613 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Items provided by the following Boeing CAGE codes covered by this acquisition: 02731, 39661, and 8V613.

The proposed requirement will be for a total of ten (10) years period of performance from contract award through 16 September 2034. The estimated annual demand is 60 each year for a total of 600. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM.

This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. NSN 1615-01-653-8691 is the item that has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.

This item is being added to the Boeing Captains of Industry Contract, SPRPA1-22-D-002U, a multiple year, Requirements Type Contract (RTC), awarded to The Boeing Company CAGE Code: 8V613 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSN identified here was not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting this part.
