CalMHSA is excited to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Sutter-Yuba County Community Mini Grant program for a one-time innovative or series of innovative events throughout the Sutter-Yuba area. Awarded programs will facilitate holistic approaches to mental health that reduce mental health stigma, create access and linkage to community resources, and provide community outreach by facilitating events that target key populations in Sutter and Yuba County. All grant applications must be submitted to the CalMHSA e-procurement portal located here by June 13.
Sutter-Yuba County Department of Behavioral Health Services, through its Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) component funding and in collaboration with CalMHSA, is pleased to announce the availability of a third round of community grant events focused on reducing stigma associated with mental health and supporting linkage to services and resources to Sutter and Yuba County communities.
Grant proposals should focus on decreasing stigma and discrimination associated with mental health, increasing help seeking behaviors, increasing awareness and access to mental health services and resources, and other activities that address one or more of the MHSA PEI-identified negative effects of untreated mental illness. The Sutter-Yuba County Community grant is currently scheduled from Aug. 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Grant amounts range from $5,000 to $7,000 per awardee.
