Synopsis:

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Multi Plants Remote Visual Inspection Services, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

The overall purpose of the Contract is to provide SaskPower with labour resources, tools and equipment to carry out designated Work associated with Remote Visual Inspection Services. The primary scope of work will be completed on SaskPower pressure equipment as defined by the Saskatchewan Boiler & Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations to ensure asset integrity. The RVI will compliment SaskPower QMS Inspectors to access areas of equipment that are normally inaccessible. Additional work may be required on non-pressure equipment. Location of sites, Southern Coal Plants; Boundary Dam, Shand, Poplar River, Southern Gas Plants; Chinook, Great Plains, Aspen, Northern Gas Plants; Cory Cogen, Queen Elizabeth.
