The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services, a large business, under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization, for the Newborn Screening Testing for General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH), Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621511 Medical Laboratories, with a size standard of $41,500,000.00.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
