Paving, Lighting and Markings for Runway 5 Extension

Sealed bid (include 1 original and Flash drive) for the PAVING, LIGHTING AND MARKINGS FOR RUNWAY 5 EXTENSION project at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Macon, Georgia, will be received by Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department located at 700 Poplar Street, 3rd floor, Suite 308, Macon, GA 31201, until 12:00 P.M. local time on May 22, 2025 then publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. local time on May 22, 2025.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This phase of the Runway 5 Extension Project consists of pavement demolition, grading, paving, pavement marking, airfield lighting, signage and installation of the MALSR, MALSR shelter, and MALSR road. The proposed taxiway and runway pavement will consist of an asphalt pavement section for the Base Bid and a concrete pavement section for Alternate 1. The location of the work is at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, in Macon, Georgia and is anticipated to begin construction in April 2026.
