The City of Pocatello is seeking sealed bids from qualified Contractors who are licensed arborists for tree removal and pruning at various locations in Pocatello, ID 83201.
Bidders can mail or hand-deliver the completed City of Pocatello bid forms. Bids can be mailed or delivered to: City of Pocatello, Attn: Planning & Development Services Department, “Pocatello Parks Tre Removal and Pruning” 911 N. 7th Avenue, Pocatello, ID 83201.
NOTE: The Bid Price Sheets must be filled out completely, signed and returned in a sealed bid package. A bid may be considered non-responsive if the Bid Price Sheets are incomplete or not sealed. Bidders may complete the forms for all or some of the Options. Bidders are not required to bid on all Options to be considered responsive.
Section 3, minority- and women-owned businesses are especially encouraged to apply, as are businesses located within the City’s municipal boundaries. The City of Pocatello offers a preference for documented Section 3 businesses or individuals on this project. Forms for certification as a Section 3 business or individual can be obtained by calling 208-234-6186.
This project is funded through a USDA Forest Service Urban Community Forestry (UCF) grant and is subject to all federal, state, and local requirements.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit is scheduled for March 13, 2026 at 2:00PM MT at Simplot Square Park, 155 S. Arthur Ave. Pocatello ID 83204. The mandatory site visit will begin at Simplot Square Park at 2:00PM. After the initial onsite meeting, contractors may proceed to each project location included in the bid documents. The initial onsite meeting is required. Contractors unable to attend the initial onsite meeting will be unable to bid on the project.
