Introduction:

This is a Sources Sought released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. This is NOT a solicitation for quotations, quotation abstracts, request for bids or quotations, or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.

Description:

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Directory Services Branch (DSB) is contemplating the acquisition of Brand Name Active Roles Server and Recovery Manager for Active Directory Software Maintenance or Equivalent Product software as a product. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain knowledge and information on the capability of any similar or compatible hardware and software products relative to the Government’s requirement.

DSB needs a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) product that supports security back up and restoration activities of Active Directory (AD) objects across multiple managed domains that provides change monitoring and notification for directory objects and attributes and provides both command line style and Graphical User Interface (GUI) access to manage directory services and all component objects, as well as allow granular delegation of those rights as needed. The period of performance shall be a base period of 1-year (12 Months from Date of Award), with three (3) 12-month option periods after Base Period.

In order to ensure availability of functionality, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires a brand name Active Roles Server and Recovery Manager for Active Directory Software Maintenance or Equivalent Product software that is supported by the products and/or services in the line items in the attached Sources Source Notice.

Interested parties are requested to submit statements on the capability of Brand Name Active Roles Server and Recovery Manager for Active Directory Software Maintenance or Equivalent Product software or similar or compatible products that can meet or be modified to meet the Government’s requirement by Monday, December 02, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST.
