Parks Alumni House Porch Restoration Project
Description:

SUNY Cortland Alumni Association is seeking proposals for professional architectural/engineering services for the development of schematic design, construction bid document development and construction administration services pertaining to the restoration of the prominent veranda/terrace, a substantial outdoor front door entrance and event space designed as an open terrace spanning the facade, then wrapping to serve as a covered veranda on the driveway side entrance, providing essential ADA access to the Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House, 29 Tompkins Street, Cortland NY 13045. This project is funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993. SUNY Cortland Alumni Association intends to hire an Architect/Engineer with experience in completion of similar projects for State, National or locally registered landmarks.
