Public Notice of Request for Proposal For Audit Services
Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District, Inc (SEAEDD) is inviting proposals from qualified respondents to audit the financial statements of SEAEDD for its fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and include necessary audit procedures to report on the district’s internal control over financial reporting and its compliance with certain provisions of laws, regulations, contracts, and grants and report on its compliance and internal control over compliance with requirements applicable to major Federal Awards Programs. In addition, the audit must be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the following:
a. Audits of States, Local Government and Nonprofit Organizations - OMB Circular A-133.
b. Government Audit Standards – “Standards for Audit of Governmental Organizations, Programs, Activities and Functions”.
c. The Single Audit Act of 1984, as amended in 1996.
d. Applicable laws of the State of Arkansas
Procedures for selection of a firm or individual will be in accordance with the Federal and State procurement requirements. SEAEDD reserve the right to reject any or all submittals, waive any informalities or technicalities and to choose the respondent deemed most advantageous and to serve the best interests of SEAEDD.

All responses must be received by March 17, 2025.
