Description:
The Department of Water Resources (DWR), Division of Engineering (DOE), Structural
Engineering Branch (SEB) invites qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualification (SOQ).
At the direction of the DWR, DOE, SEB, the Contractor will provide structural engineering
expertise for the design and construction oversight of three new hydraulic structures intended to
replace the temporary rock barriers in the South Delta with permanent operable gates.
Contractor will be the Engineer of Record for the structural design of the project only. All other
design disciplines such as architecture, mechanical, geotechnical, electrical, civil, etc., will be
done by others outside of this contract.
