ADDENDUM #2 RFP- PUPIL TRANSPORTATION SUPPLEMENTAL OOD
AND VAN SERVICES
2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
The following questions were received from proposers with the response in red:
Question 1:
Please provide a copy of each current vendor’s current Collective Bargaining
Agreement (CBA). The district does not maintain a copy of our vendors CBA
Question 2:
Is the District currently facing driver shortages? If so, please explain. Our vendor
is not facing a driver shortage
Question 3:
Do the District and school administrators currently have access to a dashboards
to track:
a. real-time bus location data Yes (ZONAR)
b. accurate ETA information Yes (ZONAR)
c. real-time ridership data? Yes (RFID cards)
Question 4:
Please provide the breakdown of the 20 vs 30 pax buses. 10 20 pass 3 30 pass
Question 5:
Are route assignments dedicated / consistent or as-needed? Dedicated
Question 6:
Does the school district or local municipality, etc. own or are party to
any properties that may be suitable for the contracted school
bus operations, that they could lease or make available to operate the service, if
so can you provide details? Not at this time – district is actively looking for bus
parking
Question 7:
Is summer transportation in scope? The proposal checklist, the performance-
bond section, and the add/delete clause all reference a "summer
transportation contract" and 30 summer days, but Appendix A and the cost forms
only cover September–June. If summer is required, please provide the summer
route list and a summer cost form, or confirm regular school year pricing applies
to summer work. This is for September to June only.
Question 8:
Please provide starting wages for monitors and drivers. N/A
Question 9:
Please provide current route schedules. These are anticipated new routes for the
district
Question 10:
For competitive pricing, please provide current WC bus pricing. $698.06 per WC
van
Question 11:
What service issues or pain points has the District experienced under the current
contract, and where does the District see opportunities
for improvement or greater efficiency? Vehicle shortage & delays we are looking
to improve bus service
Question 12:
What type of student identification card, and additional equipment if any, does
the district currently use / provide for student ridership tracking and
verification. RFID cards swipe on/off
Question 13:
What is the exact breakdown of 18/20 vs 28/30 capacity buses required out of
the 13 total? See above
