The Cobb County Water System operates and maintains four water reclamation facilities that have a combined capacity to treat up to 122 million gallons of wastewater a day. Wastewater is cleaned and treated before it is released back into the environment. Sodium Hypochlorite is a powerful and important disinfectant used in the treatment of wastewater.
