Description
The Town of Mahone Bay is currently interested in receiving bids for Contract No. 241016.00 - Edgewater Street Improvements. The project is located in the Town of Mahone Bay on Edgewater Street and surrounding coastlines. The project generally involves infrastructure improvements and coastline protection. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to various site removals; supply and installation of sanitary, water, and storm sewer piping; supply and installation of hydrants, water and sanitary services, a pedestrian footbridge, construction of two (2) sanitary pumping stations; road and trail paving complete with signage, lookoff areas, a parking lot, driveways, curbs, sidewalks, retaining walls, handrails, and pedestrian ramps; underground electrical including medium-voltage and secondary services, with associated distribution infrastructure; street lighting and associated cables, supports, fittings, conduits; shoreline protection including three (3) breakwaters and continuous rock protection; supply, placement and maintenance of topsoil and sod as well as other plantings; environmental protection; traffic control; and all other work as shown on the Project Drawings and as specified herein.
