City of Lynchburg will be replacing the rear concrete apron at fire station #5, work includes the removal of the existing concrete apron and related sanitary and storm lines. A new concrete apron will be installed according to the drawings from Virginia A&E Architects dated 7/31/2024. New sanitary, storm and trench drains will be installed as noted on the drawings. The fire station will remain operable during this construction, so care will be taken as to not prohibit daily functions of the station. All windows adjacent to the construction will need to be protected from flying debris.
