Project description:
The work is located within the Redwood Highway Frontage Road Utility Undergrounding District in Strawberry. The project includes horizontal directional drilling of dual conduits beneath Highway 101, joint trench excavation, dewatering, shoring, installation of conduit and utility substructures, minor concrete replacement, asphalt milling, and placement of hot mix asphalt (HMA). All conduit and substructures shall be completed in accordance with project requirements and utility company specifications and shall be ready to accept utility installations upon project completion. The contractor shall also prepare and submit all documentation necessary to obtain and comply with encroachment permits from Caltrans and the City of Mill Valley.
