The City of Davis Parks & Community Services Department invites and will receive sealed bids up to but not later than September 4, 2025, 4:00 pm, at the Parks & Community Services Department, located at 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, CA 95616, for the furnishing to the City of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the Arroyo Pool Heater Replacement project. At said time, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City Office. Bids received after said time shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after the Bid opening date.

The scope of work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, delivery, transportation and services necessary for the removal and installation of two pool heater units at Arroyo Pool. The current setup serves the Arroyo competition pool, which holds approximately 294,166 gallons of water and has a surface area of roughly 4,590 square feet. The existing heaters being replaced are Raypak Model P-1125-A.

RFP QUESTIONS

All questions regarding the Scope of Work, the Proposed Project Completion Timeline, or any other aspect of this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to: Janet Chaney, Project Manager at: jchaney@cityofdavis.org .

All questions must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (PDT) on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Questions received after this deadline or submitted via phone will not be accepted.  All timely and substantive questions, along with corresponding responses, will be compiled and issued as a written addendum to this RFP. Addenda will be posted on the City’s Bid Opportunities webpage. It is the responsibility of each proposer to check for any issued addenda prior to submitting a proposal.

PRPOPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Contractors interested in responding to this Request for Proposals (RFP) must submit all required documents, including a completed Bid Form (Exhibit B) and projected on-site work duration as outlined in this RFP.

All proposals and Bids shall be submitted in person at City Hall, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025:
