Description
Description
The Iowa Secretary of State and Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEMD) are seeking to partner with a Respondent to design and conduct exercises focusing on election physical, cyber and operational security. The Respondent is to have an understanding of the election security landscape, including the current threat landscape. A background of conducting election security-based exercises is preferred.
The Iowa Secretary of State and local election officials have been participating in statewide or regional table-top exercises since 2018. The primary function of the exercises is to test local election officials’ preparedness and response to injected scenarios. The scenarios can involve any number of situations that impact local election officials, election infrastructure, or elections broadly.
