The District is seeking qualified firms to control invasive woody trees and shrubs across 9 projects
within 8 Forest Preserves. The goal of this project is a one-season kill of 95% of all invasive woody re-
sprouts and seedlings growing in the project areas through foliar herbicide applications and/or
mechanical mowing, hand cutting and stump herbicide applications during April, May and June of
2027. Each project will be awarded individually.
