Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is being placed to find vendors who are able to provide AV repair services for multiple analog audio and video playback and recording devices within the United States Secret Service (USSS) Investigations Directorate (INV), Forensic Services Division’s (FSD) Visual Information Branches (VIB).



VIB provides a full range of photographic, graphic, video, image and audio enhancement, speaker identification, and modeling and simulation services, encompassing both the creative and forensic aspects of these disciplines. Maintenance of legacy audio and video recording devices is necessary for conversion of any legacy media that is related to investigations.



The equipment required to be repaired is detailed in the Statment of Requirements (SOR) attachment. After repair of the stated problem, general testing and maintenance (e.g. head cleaning) of the equipment will be conducted to ensure that the equipment does not have any undiagnosed issues and that the equipment is clean, functional, and ready to be utilized.
