Description
The CBVRCE wishes to retain a Freelance Transportation Consultant specializing in school bus routing or municipal transit bussing.
Services required but not limited to:
• Analyzing CBVRCE Transportation System and policies with an aim to provide recommendations for creating efficiencies.
• CBVRCE provides bussing to 38 schools in CBRM and Victoria County and bus over 7000 students every day. A unique aspect of the CBVRCE Transportation System is that we provide bussing to out of catchment students if certain programs are not available in the catchment school. This makes our system similar to a municipal transit system as we have many transfer points.
• Recommendations and efficiencies may include: Bus stop changes, routing changes, addition/deletion of routes, staffing, reallocation of staff, boundary changes, etc. Cost of acquiring documents: Not Applicable
