Notice of Bid
City Entryway Signs
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Americus (Owner) to construct four city entryway signs. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive qualified bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth herein.

Bids will be accepted no later than 10:00 a.m. local time Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Bids will be publicly opened at 11:00 a.m. local time June 18, 2025, at this location.
Any bid received after 10:00 a.m. local time on the bid opening date will not be considered by the OWNER. Bids will be evaluated by the OWNER and the project award is anticipated upon completion of this evaluation. Bidders are invited to attend bid opening.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 101 West Lamar St, 3rd floor conference room, Americus, Georgia 31709.

General Requirements:
Contractor is responsible for complying with all State and Federal laws.
Contractor responsible for being OSHA compliant.
Contractors will be responsible for all permits, debris removal, and must provide proof of business license and adequate insurance coverage before the contract is awarded.
Receipt of Addenda shall be acknowledged on the Bid.
Any questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Contract, Contract General Conditions, Specifications, Drawings, Bidding Form or Instructions to Bidders, shall be directed in writing no later than June 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. to: George Allen, Public Works Director at gallen@americusga.gov or call 229-924-4411; 260.
