Well 6 and Well 13 Filter Treatment Plants Rehabilitation

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of Well 6 and Well 13 Filter Treatment Plants Rehabilitation will be received by City of Lockport, Public Works Department at 17112 Prime Blvd, Lockport, IL 60441 until 10:00 a.m., local time, February 18, 2026 , and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for all GENERAL CONTRACTORS issuing a BID will be held at 9:00 a.m., local time, February 4, 2026, in the Conference Room of Public Works at 17112 Prime Blvd, Lockport, IL 60441. A site visit will be conducted after the pre-bid meeting, from 9:45 AM to 12:00 PM, to allow potential bidders to visit Wells 6 and 13. A second site visit will be conducted on February 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM . The schedule is as follows: Well #6: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and Well #13: 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM. Potential bidders must RSVP with Scott Green (SGreen@lockport.org) via email before attending the site visit. The deadline to submit RSVPs is February 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Lockport or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

The City of Lockport reserves the right to reject all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by The City of Lockport for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
