Winston Library Upfit, IF26121” will be received by City/County Purchasing, City Hall, 101 North Main
Street, Winston-Salem, NC until the date and time listed above. *This is not a public bid opening!*
Forsyth County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The prime contractor must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes to
perform the work described herein.

or 336-747-6939 during normal business hours. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read and understand
the contents of the bidding documents, which include this bid document and the drawings.
Forsyth County is looking to upfit Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center Branch Library.
Malloy/Jordan was built in 1954 and had a small upfit around 2015. Within this up fit we would like to give
the facility a more modern day look with a few upgrades with new carpet, paint and technology. Contractor
to have demo and asbestos abatement qualifications and experience as requested by consulting architect.

** NOTICE OF PRE-BID **
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM, January 07, 2025, onsite at
Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center Branch Library (1110 7th Street, Winston-Salem, NC
27101).
The purpose of this conference is to explain the scope of work involved and to give prospective bidders
the opportunity to observe the existing conditions and work parameters. Staff will be present to answer
questions. Forsyth County will not entertain bids from firms who do not have a representative attend this
meeting. A sign-in sheet will serve as the attendance record.
