Description

The Trailer-Mounted 400 AMP Diesel Engine Driven (DED) Welder is designed to replace legacy 300 AMP systems currently in use across expeditionary forces TOAs that have reached the end of their service life. This welder provides a reliable and mobile welding solution for use in austere, forward-deployed environments where shore power is not available or practical. The system is towable by organic assets and fully transportable by air and surface across all standard DoD platforms, ensuring flexibility across diverse mission profiles. Operating on NATO fuels, the welder delivers consistent performance in all climates and supports both Civil Engineer Support Equipment repair and general construction tasks. Its configuration ensures seamless integration into expeditionary operations while maintaining continuity in support and logistics structures.
