Project Description: The intent of this project is to replace approximately (17) existing Air Release Valve (ARV) assemblies. Work includes removal of the existing ARV from the manhole vault; replacement of existing tapping saddle with new SS316 tapping saddle; removal of manhole cone and backfilling with select BJWSA approved fill material; installation of contractor supplied new ARV pedestal; and site restoration work. New ARV to be placed on 3’x3’ concrete pad no less than 6” above ground surface.
