Assistive listening for accessibility
The system shall be designed for high speech intelligibility, durability in a school environment, and future expandability.
The system must be installed and functional before the second week in August, there could be as many as 16 sites, some sites are larger than others. We have 2 large high school gyms.
The selected contractor shall provide a turnkey solution, including but not limited to:
Loudspeakers and mounting hardware
Subwoofers (optional / alternate bid)
Amplifiers
Digital signal processing (DSP)
Mixer / control interface
Wireless and wired microphones
Assistive listening system
Input panels and stage connectivity
Racks, cabling, and conduits
Programming, commissioning, and tuning
Staff training and system documentation
Installation Requirements
All equipment must be permanently installed, protected from damage, and code-compliant.
All cabling must be concealed or protected.
Loudspeakers must be structurally secured and safe for school use.
