Description


Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water & Wastewater System Improvements will be received, by City of Broxton, at the 105 Lott Street, Broxton, GA 31519, until 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 29th, 2025, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Water & Wastewater System Improvements as shown on the construction drawings. In general, Division A: Water System Improvements consists of improvements to the City¿s two existing chemical feed buildings, minor water system improvements at each site, chemical feed equipment and associated piping, electrical upgrades, telemetry system and all associated measures shown in the construction plans and specifications. Division B: Wastewater System Improvements consist of improvements to six lift stations to include pump replacement, minor repairs and all associated measures shown in the construction plans and specifications. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 194 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.Copies of Bidding Documents for bidding purposes can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Office of the Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the City of Broxton, located at 105 Lott Street, Broxton, GA 31519 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Docs.
