Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to reissue solicitation 16PBGC24R0010 for the custodian banking services requirement. This is a Synopsis/Pre-solicitation notice for the reissuance. The original solicitation was issued on October 21, 2024 under SAM notice ID 1554.



Requirement Description



PBGC is seeking to award one contract for custodian banking services. Custodian banking services provide global master custody services for the safekeeping and asset servicing of plan assets. The anticipated period of performance is one (1) twelve-month base period and nine (9) twelve-month option periods. A firm fixed price (FFP) and fixed rate variable quantity (FRVQ) contract is anticipated.



RFP Release Information



The purpose of this Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation is to notify potential Offerors that PBGC intends to solicit proposals via a Request for Proposal (RFP) to select a single contractor to provide custodian banking services. PBGC anticipates issuing the solicitation within the next month and no sooner than 12/3/24. The RFP is anticipated to be issuied via full and open competition.



This synopsis/pre-solicitation notice is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations and in no way obligates the Government to issue a request for proposals (RFP) and/or award a contract. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. If a solicitation is issued, all necessary information will be supplied at the time it is posted at https://sam.gov. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFP issuance. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM for the most up-to-date information concerning the forthcoming solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation and its amendments will not be distributed.
