Description:

The purpose of this synopsis is to inform the Government has awarded a sole-source contract to General Dynamics Missions Systems (GD-MS) for sustainment and modernization support for the MUOS Ground System.

This is an IDIQ contract with hybrid contract types consisting of Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), and Cost-Plus- Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract line items (CLINs) awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1- 10 USC 3204(a)(l), (see J&A approved 07 Aug 2023 in Attachments/Links section). This posting serves as both an award notice for the IDIQ and first Task Order (FA8807-25-F-B001) and the posting of the justification in accordance with FAR 5.301(a) and (d) and FAR 6.305.

The contractor shall provide all services for the sustainmnet, modernization, and maintenace of teh MUOS Ground System including all hardware and software improvements, modification kits, waveform modifications, updates, supply support, training support, development, modernization, digitization, integration testing and site support. The amount shown in this notice for the TO contract.
