Solicitation Document Description: RFT-Topham Park Playground and Splashpad
Specific Conditions for Procurement: 1.        The Supplier must have completed (including testing and commissioning), and must have achieved Substantial Completion within the meaning of the Construction Act for at least four (4) projects within the past six (6) years as General Contractor involving the construction of upgraded existing public parks with a minimum value of $750,000.00 Canadian dollars each (excluding taxes) with the following experience in order to be considered for award;
2.        All of the four (4) projects must have been with a government agency/municipality.
3.        Taken together, the four (4) projects must include all of the following components (but each individual project does not have to include all of the components):
a.        Demolition and removal
b.        Site grading and earthworks
c.        Asphalt paving
d.        Concrete paving including splashpad
e.        Concrete curbs, walls and seatwalls
f.        Wood fibre safety surface with subsurface drainage
g.        Supply and install natural stone boulders and armourstone
h.        Supply and install playground
i.        Supply and install splash pad fixtures with plumbing and mechanical
j.        Site furnishing
k.        Water servicing
l.        Electrical servicing
m.        Working within/around existing mature tree canopy
n.        Planting restoration with sod, soil and mulch

Pre-Bid Meeting: .1        Suppliers are encouraged to attend an optional site meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the Work required. The site meeting will take place at 10:00 AM local time on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1 Tiago Ave, East York, Toronto, M4B 1Z9. Site meetings will not be available at any other times.
