Publications from Project Learning Tree - Sole Source Notification

It is the intention of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to procure the quantity of four hundred (400) books from Project Learning Tree. Project Learning Tree (PLT) printed materials are unique, proprietary educational resources designed specifically to support PLT’s nationally recognized environmental education framework. Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Inc. (SFI) is the sole publisher and exclusive distributor of all Project Learning Tree printed publications, e-books and online courses. These materials are program-specific and curriculum-aligned, cannot be substituted by comparable products from other publishers, and are required in their original published form to ensure program fidelity and instructional integrity. Because SFI retains exclusive publishing and distribution rights, competitive procurement is not possible, and these materials must be acquired directly from the publisher.
