The Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC), on behalf of the Town of Petersham, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or companies with proven expertise in emergency communications planning for municipalities. The purpose of the project is to enhance the town's ability to communicate, inform, and respond to residents when town-wide emergencies arise due to more frequent and powerful climate-related events. The project consists of, but is not limited to, development of a comprehensive local emergency communications plan, recommendations for communications equipment purchases or upgrades, and pilot testing procedures for the Town of Petersham.
