FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO
WESTFIELD-BARNES REGIONAL AIRPORT (BAF)
The City of Westfield, Massachusetts, acting on behalf of the Westfield Airport Commission, invites sealed bids for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work in connection with a construction contract at the Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport, Westfield, Massachusetts as follows:

AIP Project No. 3-25-0052-XXX-2026
The proposed work includes: Markings Removal, Markings, Sign, PAPI, and REILS relocations, access road pavement and other electrical installations.
Procedures regarding bids and the selection of contractors shall be in conformity with the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended to date. Sealed Bids for the General Contract must be delivered to the City of Westfield Purchasing Department, 59 Court Street, Room 101, Westfield, MA 01085 prior to 11:00 AM Eastern Time, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.
The General Bids shall be filed with the Owner at the location designated above, accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond or a certified check, in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price for the Contract work. The bid security shall be made payable to the Westfield Airport Commission.
The Instruction to Bidders, Bid Proposal Forms, Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications may be examined at the City of Westfield Purchasing Office, 59 Court Street, Westfield, Massachusetts, 01085, (413) 572-6254 on or after Wednesday, June 24, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

The project site will be shown to interested bidders at a pre-bid meeting to be held at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport Conference Room, 110 Airport Road, Westfield, MA 01085.
