Description: State University of New York System Administration will receive sealed proposals for IFB Contract Number D004273, Project Number 361032 Titled Renovation Federal Building – Basement Plumbing until 2:00 pm Local Time on 2/7/2025, at SUNY System Administration, 353 Broadway, Albany, NY, 12246, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be hand-delivered or mailed to the above location and must be received and stamped no later than the above time. See section 3 of the Information for Bidders for additional instructions regarding proposals. Please be advised that all individuals who access SUNY System Administration to submit bids or attend bid openings will be required to present picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitor’s pass before entering the building. To ensure delivery of their bid before the aforesaid deadline for receipt of bids, bidders should allow sufficient time for individuals to find public parking for their vehicles, to find the Central Tower Entrance to the building, to be processed through building security, to find the office within the building, to properly complete and submit their proposal and to allow for delays that are typical for congested urban areas and crowded public bid openings. The Contractor shall complete all work necessary for substantial completion up to sixty (60) calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. State University of New York System Administration’s specific goals for this project are 19% MBE, 11% WBE, and 6% SDVOB. A pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held on the date at a time described on the summary information form in the bid documents with all contractors assembled at SUNY System Administration 353 Broadway, Albany, NY 12246. Please be advised all individuals who access SUNY System Administration to attend project walk-throughs will be required to present picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitor’s pass before entering the building. There is no free parking at the University for those attending the walk-through. For more information, see section 14 of the Information to Bidders. Complete sets of Bid Documents will be available by emailing the Technical Contact identified in this advertisement. All questions must be submitted to the Technical Contact identified in this advertisement. Bids must be submitted in duplicate per the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. A Bid Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women-owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Furthermore, The State University of New York reserves the right to award no contract.
