This is an amendment to a previously synopsized requirement for the National Park Service, The National Park Service, Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve, for tree thinning and piling services

The purpose of this Amendment no. 04 is to amend the answer to a previously posted question. It was previously stated that at least one employee performing the tree work of the prime contractor or subcontractor would be required to have an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification. This is no longer required, and as a result, the Statement of Work is revised to remove Section 3.2.1 Employee Training. Refer to "Attachment 3 Revised Statement of Work" dated 6/6/26 which shall replace the original version dated 4/16/26.

AMENDED QUESTION AND ANSWER NO.3:

QUESTION 3: Could you please clarify whether every individual performing tree work (e.g.,
felling, climbing, and rigging) under this contract needs to have current ISA certification, or if it
is acceptable for one person in the company to hold the certification while others are supervised
by them? REVISED ANSWER 3: ISA certification is no longer required.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF AMENDMENTS: For each Amendment, fill in boxes 15a through 15c on the Standard Form 30 (SF-30) amendment forms and submit with quote. Acknowledging amendments is important because it confirms the Quoter's understanding of the complete solicitation package, as originally posted and as amended.
