Project Title: IFB 202404 Mobile Ambulance Simulator
Description: Bladen Community College seeks to procure an ambulance simulator that allows EMS students the ability to participate in live scenarios that simulate the live environment of a moving EMS unit. The ability to recreate this environment is very limited without the use of an ambulance simulator with motion control. The mobile unit allows the students to operate in various environments that may occur in the prehospital setting. By coupling this device with mid to hi-fidelity simulations, the students are also afforded the opportunity for simulations that are not always available in the clinical setting. This ability better prepares the student for employability.
