for Hollywood Road Improvements: Street & Utilities

The City of Safford (City) hereby invites the submission of sealed Bids from properly licensed Bidders for Hollywood Road Improvements: Street & Utilities. The Work for this project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials (*except where noted) required to satisfactorily, safely, and legally conduct all Work.
The Work for this project, in general: Install 3,047 linear feet of *City-provided 6”, 8” and 12” water main, furnish and install additional 187 linear feet of water lines, 928 linear feet of 15” sewer main with service connections, 1,921 linear feet of paved roadway, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, and 1,721 linear feet of asphalt mill and overlay of existing roadway, removal of existing bridge and replace with ADOT specified box culvert within Safford city limits along Hollywood Road between US Hwy 70 and 1

Avenue.
This Project is expected to be Substantially Complete in 365 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed and be ready for final payment in an additional 30 calendar days. A mandatory pre-Bid conference will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM local at the MYOC, 405 W. Discovery Park Blvd, Safford, AZ 85546, and will be followed by a Site visit.
Bidders are to deliver or send their Bids by 2:00 PM local time, Thursday, June 26

, 2025, to the City Clerk’s office at 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. All Bids must include a bid bond for 10% of the Bid amount, and all Bids must be plainly marked on the outermost packaging with “Attention: Sealed Bid #ST1706,” and shall indicate the company name and address of the Bidder and bid closing date and time. Any Bids received after 2:00 PM on the above stated date will be returned unopened. The City reserves its right to reject any or all Bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the City determines. The City also reserves its right to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days after the Bid opening date and will not allow withdrawal of Bids during those sixty (60) days.
