The information requested by the Request for Information (RFI) is for market research and Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 acquisition planning only; responses are voluntary and will not be reimbursed. This notice is NOT a solicitation for offers. No offers will be considered or accepted in response to this notice. Nothing in this notice shall be considered to have obligated the Government to any agreement or expenditure of appropriated funds.
The 366ᵗʰ Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Elmore County, Idaho, is seeking responsible and eligible small business 8(a) program participants to compete for MHAFB’s next Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Also known as or similar to a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) or Job Order (JOC) contract.
There is currently an active SABER contract in place. The next contract is anticipated to be needed at the beginning of FY2027 (approximately October-November 2026) to provide a streamlined method to complete minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
This contract is anticipated to have a 5-year ordering period and $10 million maximum contract quantity, with $2 thousand minimum and $1 million maximum order quantities.
Orders will be firm-fixed-price and priced using a contract-specified Unit Price Guide, typically a commercial pricing software using RSMeans data.
