RFQ Notice
The City of Griffithville Is accepting Annual Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications (SQQ) from properly experienced, qualified surveying and engineering firms who provide professional services interested in being evaluated for providing surveying and engineering services for ARDOT Transportation Alternatives Program Sidewalk Projects.
In evaluating the qualifications of each firm, the City will consider:
1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of professional services required;
2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project;
3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules and deadlines; and
4. The firm’s proximity to and familiarity withthe area inwhich the project Is located.
Note: Firms shall not provide a fee schedule.
The City of Griffithville encourages participation of small, minority, and woman own business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, professional services, and construction, either as a general contractor or sub-contractor. It is further requested that whenever possible, majority contractors who require sub-contractors, seek qualified small, minority, and woman businesses to partner with them.
Submission Details:
A. Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes or packages addressed to City of Griffithville, 106 Main Street, Griffithville, AR 72060. The name, address of the Firm, and the RFQ name shall be on the outside of the packaging.
B. Statements of Qualifications for this project will need to be received by March 30, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m. local time.
Location of Project will be west side of South main street, also Hy 385. Side walk beginning at corner of West Hamilton & main street, then South to corner of Hwy 11 & Main street. Approximately One block (400 feet) to remove and replace damaged sidewalk, and remove tree by side walk to prevent root damage to new sidewalk. City will consider letters of interest at City Council Meeting Thursday, April 5 at 7 Pm at Griffithville city hall .
