RFQ for Traffic Engineering Services- Traffic Impact Analysis
Guilford County Schools (GCS) is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering/ planning firms to provide
professional transportation engineering services to evaluate proposed developments for five (5) new school
construction projects in accordance with the Transportation Impact Analysis requirements as outlined by the City of
Greensboro DOT (GDOT) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NC DOT) departments and divisions.
The five (5) schools are Northwood ES, Bessemer ES, Joyner ES, Shadybrook ES, and the new Northwest Middle
School as part of the 2022 Bond Referendum.
Delivery of two (2) original and one (1) digital copy to Guilford County Schools (GCS) Purchasing Department by 2:00
pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

A Non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on, Monday, March 9, 2026 virtually. Each Vendor
interested in participating on this proposal opportunity is encouraged to attend.
GCS will retain, and is under no obligation to return, all materials submitted in response to this RFQ. Please make
specific reference to the response and in any accompanying cover letter or document to any legitimate and
appropriately confidential or proprietary materials contained in the response and mark the material accordingly. Upon
review of the RFQ document, candidates may have questions to clarify or interpret the RFQ to submit the best
proposal possible. All questions or requests for information regarding this RFQ should be submitted in writing by email
to Velicia Moore at gaddyv@gcsnc.com no later than 2:00pm March 13, 2026. The Request for Qualifications, along
with all responses to questions or requests received by this deadline and any addenda, will be posted on the Guilford
County Schools website at: GCS Online under Q6815. Late requests will not receive a response.
