Advertisement for RFQ: Engineering for Davidson River Rd & Old Hendersonville Hwy Waterline Ext.

Notice is hereby given that Transylvania County is soliciting qualifications statements for contract services related to on-call engineering services to include design/build, permitting, and engineering studies for the water/wastewater projects for Transylvania County. Specifically, construction of a waterline extension from the intersection of Davidson River Road and Old Hendersonville Hwy to approximately 7,700 LF east. Construction of a pump station and force main from a location on Old Hendersonville Hwy towards an existing manhole within the City of Brevard. Engineering services will be in compliance with EDA funding requirements.

Statement of Qualifications must be received by Jennifer Galloway at the address shown above no later than 4:00 PM EST, April 8, 2026. Per NCGS 143-129.8 proposals shall remain confidential until the contract is awarded; therefore, there will not be a public bid opening.

The Transylvania County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
