St Regis River Watermain Crossing

Submission: Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) Grants & Contracts Office, 2nd Floor, Ionkwakiohkwaroron Administration Building, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY 13655 no later than 3:30pm (Local Time), Tuesday, June 17, 2025. No Public Opening will be conducted.

Description: SRMT is accepting Proposal from qualified Contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, plant, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to furnish and install 16” HDPE DR 11 casing pipe and 8” HDPE DR11 watermain pipe via directional drill method beginning around 385 Church Street and then below the Saint Regis River, Akwesasne, NY; as well as to furnish and install 8” C900 DR18 watermain pipe via direct bury across private property, to include all required connections to existing mains and two new service lines, all more particularly identified in the Proposal Documents.

A Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (local time) to be held at the SRMT's Planning & Infrastructure Boardroom, 2817 State Rt. 95, Bombay, NY 12914. A site visit will be held directly after, if necessary.

Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Domestic Preference, Proposal/Bid and Contract Security are mandatory requirements of this call as well as the following preferences : Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises & Veteran with Disabilities Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises and Veterans Business Enterprises.

In accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Native American Preference Policy, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe will give preference in the award of a Contract to approved Native American Owned Businesses/Companies, as certified by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Compliance Department. Any proponent claiming Native American Preference must give evidence to support this claim with their submitted proposal. The successful Contractor, as well as their Sub-Contractors, will be required to complete a Native American Preference Employment Plan and Agreement.

THE SAINT REGIS MOHAWK TRIBE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY PROPOSAL, WHETHER IT IS THE LOWEST OR NOT, OR MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
