Description: The Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Department of Planning, Environment & Land Management, is soliciting proposals from qualified Proposers to provide professional planning consulting services for the preparation of a Townwide Comprehensive Land Use Plan. New York State Town Law §272-a requires extensive public outreach and citizen input in the shaping of a comprehensive plan. The Town is committed to an inclusive planning process for the preparation of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan that allows stakeholders to provide meaningful input in establishing the goals for Brookhaven’s future. The Plan should be developed through a broad public engagement program that is designed to reach all of our residents and stakeholders.
