Description

The purpose of this contract is for the contractor to provide corrosion engineering and logistics technical, analytical, programmatic, research, technical assistance, testing, training, and technical writing support for the United States (U.S.) Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVCS) and Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC) Program. The contractor shall provide independent analysis and assessment of TACOM’s CPC Program to help administer the CPC Program for corrosion prevention, detection, and mitigation practices during sustainment and in support of DEVCOM’s technical objectives. The contractor, as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the Government, shall provide engineering and logistics analytical support to include field assessments, inspection, technology assessment, demonstration, testing, technical assistance, technical writing, material, engineering changes, acquisition support, video production, research , and statistical analysis services to DEVCOM’s Materials, Environmental, Coatings and Corrosion Team and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to execute assigned programs and functions. These programs and functions support the DoD CPC program, Corrosion Engineering Support for ground and watercraft systems managed by Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS and CSS), PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS), and Life Cycle Sustainment support for the TACOM Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). The contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, laptops, facilities, material and services.
