INTRODUCTION
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective 17 January 2025.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business.
DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Geological Survey Idaho Water Science Center (IDWSC) requires Janitorial Services as described in the attached Performance Work Statement. The USGS requires a one year period of performance.
SUBMISSION OF QUOTES
All services will be performed at the IDWSC in Boise, ID. There will be a site visit on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10:00am MT. Attendance is not required but strongly encouraged. RSVP to the Contract Specialist at e-mail address eadam@usgs.gov.
RELEVENT INFORMATION
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561720 defined as Janitorial Services and associated size standard $22.0 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code S201 defined as Housekeeping - Custodial Janitorial.
This service is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determination# 2015-5503, Executive Order 14026, and Executive Order 13658.
All questions must be sent directly to eadam@usgs.gov by Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 12:00pm MT. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contract Specialist at eadam@usgs.gov. All quote documents required by this Request for Quote must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than Friday, March 21, 2025, at 12:00pm MT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered.
Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
