NHL REV WAR SHS PHASE II

The National Park Service, Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, intends to award a Firm Fixed price contract for Phase II of the NHL Special History Study for American Revolutionary War for the History Branch of Southeast Regional Office located in Atlanta, GA 30350. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The determination to select Mirandola Research, LLC for the services is based on logical follow-on of the Phase One project of the historical study. The existing historical survey was already accomplished by the contractor has been accomplished. The contractor has been the sole author for the first full draft of the report and has the expertise and understanding of the projects evolution to complete this project. Additionally, the contractor has attended all the listening sessions which they presented the initial draft and answered questions related to the report. The next phase of the report will require continued research and revisions on the initial drafted report which is a logical follow-on of existing work already accomplished. Additionally, it is in the best interest of the Government to stay with the original contractor for the follow-on project to decrease potential costs on the overall project by saving on unnecessary manpower for re-accomplishing research that was already accomplished for the study. Since the original contractor owns the proprietary rights of specific aspects of the data on the report, it is the only source that can provide the services required for this completion of this project.

NAICS Code: 541990, All other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, Standard business size is $19.5M. The National Park Service is presently using SAM/FBO to issue synopsis for Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Justifications and Sources Sought. The synopsis may be viewed online at: https://beta.sam.gov. FBO will be the only means of obtaining the amendments and will be able to receive electronic notification of solicitations and awards. CAUTION: This synopsis will be issued electronically as will any amendments. The Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's list. It is incumbent for any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. This is a sources sought for interested vendors for this project. A solicitation will not be released for this requirement. This will be a notice of intent to award on a sole source basis to Mirandola Research LLC.
